New Zealand update at last!

Hey everyone sorry its taken me so long to update the blog but we have been in lots of places with no internet since arriving, but here we are.

We arrived in NZ on the 18th December and had a BBQ and jam session for Tom's (Dave's brother) birthday and had just enough time to do our Christmas shopping.

Then we had a loveley Christmas eve meal (with my homemade pavlova featured!)

Then on Christmas day Santa .... (aka Dave's dad Terry)

... and his little helpers all exchanged lovely gifts

Then had a wonderful Christmas meal (I was a brave girl and wasn't too homesick :( )

Then finished up with some dancing :)

On Boxing Day we headed to the Marlborough Sounds (a collection of islands and pennisulas) to the bach for some peace and tranquility

Except for the gossiping between me and Toni and Tam (Dave's mum and sis)

Terry took Dave and I out fishing and I caught a cod!

Then it was off to Derville island on the 29th for new year celebrations

...with the possie

Then Dave and I went back to the bach for more .... well R&R :)

Then back in Blenheim we paid a visit to some wineries - here we are at Cloudy Bay

Then we went to Nelson to a friend's wedding on the beach (Emma, Sam's sister for those who know Sam & Maria)

Sorry guys, but it was boiling!

...and very romantic

Then we boogied it up on the dance floor later with Sam & Maria and Tom (Dave's brother) and his girlfriend Jacqui

And here's the bride Emma with her lovely mum Sue (who is following our blog - hi Sue!)

So that's it for now - thanks to all those Kiwis who said they are following the blog and to all you Brits too. Send us your comments. Lots of love xxxx
